I absolutely love this.

ACTUALLY. This myth gets more interesting. These original “double humans” were comprised of two parts—either both parts male, one part male and one female, or both female. This myth is used to explain why some people are homosexual and why some are straight. Yay Classics. I’M LEARNING SO MUCH IN COLLEGE GUYS

This gets better each time it scrolls through my dash.

Clearly the Greek mythos were much more fucking metal than anyone else’s.

Charting the Evolution of the Bat Logo
By Joseph Hughes
Few symbols in comics, or in any other medium, are as enduring as Batman’s logo. Perhaps one of the most impressive aspects of the Dark Knight’s symbol is that, despite going through dozens of changes over the years, it remains eminently recognizable. This fact was not lost on Cathryn Lavery, as the artist has highlighted many iterations of the famous symbol in a limited edition poster that features 30 different versions of the Bat logo - from print, film, and animation - spanning 72 years.
Check out Lavery’s evolutionary chart of the Bat logo on ComicsAlliance!
